Want to make your business Djamp?

CoWork Lab in partnership with Erasmus Centre for Entrepreneurship (ECE) and Unknown Group have created Djampa Project, whose main objective is to contribute to the inclusive and sustainable economic development of Mozambique, focusing on job creation and business (formal and sustainable) in the private sector, supporting young Mozambicans to design their own entrepreneurial careers with special focus on digitalization, sustainability and green economy.

At Djampa Project you will find opportunities for incubation of ideas, acceleration of Micro, Small and Medium Mozambican Enterprises, learning platforms and spaces to test your ideas.

It is a project co-financed by the European Union, in the framework of the financial assistance to Support Business Accelerators and Social Inclusion in Mozambique.

Djampa Incubators are spaces dedicated to entrepreneurs, where they will have access to computers, mentors and other forms of support for their business.

There are 10 spaces in 10 provinces, created in partnership with UnISCED.

This network has as main objectives:

  • Access to local mentors
  • Facilitate young people's access to tools and spaces for learning and experimentation
  • Greater connectivity of the ecosystem
  • Fight inequalities in access to knowledge

It is a digital learning platform that will make available several courses on business management, technology and digitalization.

Its main objective is to support the education of young Mozambican entrepreneurs in order to increase their capacity to create and implement new ideas and businesses.

It is an important pillar in the Djampa Project and a channel that will always be available, even in rural areas, as long as there is an internet connection.

To access the platform just follow the link  http://djampa.coworklab.net.

Within the Djampa Project, Acceleration Programs will be created to help young Mozambican entrepreneurs across the country transform their ideas into sustainable business models.

With the provision of specific tools and training, the Acceleration Programs will be the component of the project focused on the creation of sustainable businesses that will contribute to the development of the country.

These programs will have a national scope.

The first acceleration program will run from March 27, 2023.

If you want to know more about the acceleration program click here.

Djampa Project also has a Digital Lab, created to support the project's activities, and which represents a unique sandbox for entrepreneurs in Mozambique, where they can get in touch with resources linked to new technologies, reshaping the way they think about their future and opening up a range of new opportunities and horizons.

The Digital Lab will include tools such as:

  • 3D printer
  • Audio and video studio
  • Drone
  • VR equipment
  • Robotics

Located in Maputo, this is an experimentation space focused on new digital technologies and accessible through our incubation and acceleration programs.
